Penshoppe has recently launched its collection with Disney Pixar’s Cars. The collaboration includes T-shirts, polo shirts, hoodies, and caps, all sporting graphics from the first movie released in 2006.
Most of the designs, as expected, revolve around the movie’s main protagonist, Lightning McQueen. The shirts and hoodies feature McQueen in his signature Rust-eze decals, lightning-bolt graphics, and of course, the number 95.

There are also pieces dedicated to The King, the veteran racecar based on the Plymouth Superbird. These pieces feature Dinoco graphics, race-inspired motifs, and the number 43. The older veteran Doc Hudson is also featured, but not as a standalone piece; instead, in an illustration with The King and McQueen.

Cars gave a lot of kids at the time a glimpse into the world of racing and automotive culture. It treated the idea of a car not as an object, but as something that could be alive—a sentiment most of us enthusiasts share regardless of what inspired us to love cars the way we do.
