Tissot launched the signature PRX in 1978, originally with a quartz movement, and you can still get one and save yourself some money. But flagship PRX models like this have automatic movements. The titanium case has an exhibition glass on the back.

Christopher Ward The Twelve 660
This youngish British brand came from nowhere and has some very nice watches at competitive prices. This is one of the best. The 38mm case in DLC-blackened steel has a slender height of 6.6mm and is powered by a hand-wound Swiss movement.

Bell & Ross BR-05 Black Steel
This watch illustrates the style well, as you can barely see where the case ends and the bracelet begins. The smooth look suits a watch in Bell & Ross’s Urban collection—distinct from the more hard-edged Professional range. The original case size was 40mm, and it is now offered in 36mm, too.

Rolex Land-Dweller
This all-new Rolex has been causing a big stir, and the tapered, integrated bracelet has been a hit. It comes with either a 36mm or 40mm case. Prices start at $15,350 for a steel case with a white-gold bezel. Also in Everose gold, or platinum, for which you’ll have to shell out $63,600, before you look at the diamond bezel.
