Two Filipino service advisors from Hyundai Asia Resources' dealership network recently made the country proud by being recognized in the first-ever Hyundai Service Advisor Championship.
The two service advisors are Eduard de Guzman and Rommel Agpoon, who bagged the "Outstanding Skills" and "Recognized Skills" awards, respectively, at the aforementioned competition. According to the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the Philippines, de Guzman also made it as one of the event's top 10 finalists.
The Hyundai Service Advisor Championship consisted of two parts. The written test assessed the participants' grasp of Hyundai automotive technology, service advisory, information on warranty and the Hyundai Service Advisor Program, and basic technical knowledge. The practical test, meanwhile, featured interviews and role-playing which tested their understanding of the service process and their ability to handle real-life customer situations.
Held in Seoul, South Korea, from October 23 to 26, the Hyundai Service Advisor Championship was staged "to honor and recognize the skills and abilities of the best of the best Hyundai service advisors globally."
