Auto Focus Motor Show & Auto Expo kicks off

Head on over to the Bonifacio Global City open grounds for the biggest motor show of the year

The 2009 Auto Focus Motor Show & Auto Expo has opened its doors to motoring enthusiasts for a four-day automotive showcase at the Bonifacio Global City open grounds beside the NBC Tent.

Expected to be the top draw during the motor show's entire run are the winners in the 2009 Auto Focus People's Choice Awards, with the limelight on the Hyundai Starex, the Automobile of the Year.

Displays from 15 automobile manufacturers also hope to attract a sizeable crowd. Car companies have prepared almost a hundred vehicles on display, most of which are available for public test drives.

In his latest Philippine Star column, Auto Focus host and Sunshine TV chairman and chief executive Ray "Butch" Gamboa said the following car companies are participating in this year's motor show:

The challenge will pit the driving skills of participants in different parking situations, maneuvering and driving time management using the Kia Soul multipurpose vehicle. With a registration fee of just P200, any legitimate driver's license holder can join and win as much as P5,000 during the challenge.
