Bigger Bangkok International Motor Show to open in March

Bangkok International Motor ShowA comprehensive show awaits automotive enthusiasts who will visit the Bangkok International Motor Show from March 23 to April 6 as the event moves to a bigger venue.

The 2011 home of BIMS is the Challenger Hall in IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok. For 12 years since its 19th staging, the Bangkok International Motor Show was held at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center.

"The 32nd Bangkok International Motor Show will be a comprehensive one that includes passenger cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, vehicle bodies, parts, machinery and tools," said Grand Prix International (GPI), organizer of the show. "This international motor show will serve as a hub to send out information about the latest next-generation safety and environment technologies from the automobile industry."

Visitors will also be in for a treat during the show as they will be able to touch and even ride actual test models on display.

On its 32nd year, BIMS is focused on "discovering a new innovation" as Thailand continues to be among the most active automotive markets in the Southeast Asian region.

"It's the Bangkok International Motor Show, the most innovative automotive technology works for mankind," GPI said. "Since the first step, we had never stopped walking and developing. We know that experiences make our journey colorful."
