Car firms offer free towing services for vehicles damaged by typhoon

Car companies are offering free towing service to clients whose vehicles were damaged by Typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana).

Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. said the first 250 clients who call hotlines 0929-194-2562, 0917-7537765, 0932-5382159, (02)8140489, (02)8140498 can avail of the company's free towing services. The hotlines are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday.

The Hyundai Sagip Center program also offers car repair assistance and restoration services that includes free labor and a discount of up to 25 percent on affected car parts.

Meanwhile, Asian Carmakers Corp. is also providing free towing services to BMW clients in Metro Manila and Pampanga.

"We are committed to resolve the technical problems and get the customer's BMW back on to the road again which is why we are offering these services," said Asian Carmakers aftersales director Jun Francia.

BMW clients may also avail of special payment terms in service, parts and labor transactions in the following BMW dealers: Autohaus BMW (Libis) (02)6380734, Autozentrum BMW (Alabang) (02)7726021 to 24, Klassik BMW (San Juan) (02)7222555, Premier Cars BMW (Pampanga) (045)9637777, and Prestige Cars BMW (Makati) (02)8928127.
