This lovely Aston Martin DB7 first owned by Sir Elton John is coming up for auction, and the estimate is... actually pretty reasonable considering it’s a bona fide superstar’s old supercar. Like, between-£23k (P1.7 million)-and-£27k (P2 million)-reasonable.
Yep, bought for about £80,000 (P5.9 million) back in his Made in England era, this 1995 coupe—which won’t let the sun go down on it because the sun’s not allowed in—was bedecked in the classic British racing green paintwork over light tan leather combo at the request of Sir John himself.

The legendary musician also specced such extravagance as: a six-stack CD changer! An Alpine stereo and amplifier! A remote control for said Alpine stereo! A Motorola car phone!
You can use it to call all your friends and tell them Sir John’s old pinball wizard is barely run in: For over 30 years, this DB7’s racked up around 14,500 miles. Which means its 335hp/488Nm, 3.2-liter straight-six engine and five-speed manual won’t go breaking your heart. No need to sing sad songs when you’ll be able to reel off 0-97kph in 5.6sec.

You can add yet more miles in toasty, consistent comfort courtesy of the DB7’s further extravagance in the shape of heated seats, cruise control and even air-conditioning.
As is the circle of life with such things, it’s now being offered to a new home via H&H Classics. Will you be the one?
