The Jetour T1 has earned a five-star safety rating in the ASEAN New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) with a total score of 87.67 points under the 2021-2025 protocol. The T1 joins its larger sibling, the T2, in scoring an excellent safety performance.
The ASEAN NCAP rates car safety based on four assessment categories: Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), Child Occupant Protection (COP), Safety Assist (SA), and Motorcyclist Safety (MS). See how the rugged compact crossover fared in each category at the end of this story.
The T1 is packed with safety features that are standard across all variants. You get six airbags, electronic stability control, ABS, seatbelt reminders for both front and rear passengers, child presence detection, Isofix tethers, blind-spot detection, and pedestrian protection.

Other features include autonomous emergency braking (AEB), lane-departure warning, forward-collision warning, lane-keep assist, and automatic high beam, with AEB for motorcycles available as an optional upgrade.
