Jetour Auto Philippines (JAPI) officially launched its latest product today, the Jetour T1 Lightning i-DM. Following in the steps of the popular T2 model, the T1 is a smaller and more affordable offering.
‘i-DM’ stands for Intelligent Dual Motor, the T1’s hybrid powertrain that pairs a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor. The petrol powerplant puts out 140hp and 215Nm of torque, while the electric motor adds 204hp and 310Nm. There’s a 26.7kWh battery that can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
The T1’s cabin features a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster and a 15.6-inch infotainment system. For added comfort, there are features like sun protection glass and soundproof glass. The T1 also touts a “24-hour parked air-conditioning function.”

As expected of modern vehicles, safety is a top concern. The T1 has a suite of advanced driver-assist systems, including corner brake control, traction control, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, front collision warning, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a “Panoramic Image System.”
The Jetour T1 Lightning is now available at an introductory price of P1,798,000. It will come in five colors: Night Black, Sand Gold, Electroplated Green, Silver Snow, and Khaki White.
