Is an Isuzu MU-X refresh on its way to the Philippines? Isuzu Thailand recently released a teaser video on its website showing the updated Japanese midsize SUV draped in shadows, awaiting its March 4 Thailand release.
The video doesn't show much. It's only 15 seconds long and the audio is in Thai. We do get a glimpse of the vehicle's redesigned headlamps and taillights, the latter of which looks like it's getting daytime running lights. There's a short shot of the SUV's rims and the updated MU-X interior which appears to feature leather seats and a more premium dashboard as well. The Thailand refresh will be powered by 1.9-liter and 3.0-liter Ddi Blue Power engines.
You can check out the new MU-X in the teaser video above. Local MU-X models have received a few minor updates as well as a new 3.0-liter engine since the vehicle's 2014 launch, but not a full-blown refresh. No word yet on whether or not a Philippine release is imminent, so all we can do for now is sit tight.
