As you know, several members of the cast of Fast & Furious 6--including lead star Vin Diesel--came to town for the movie\'s Asian premiere held last night at SM Mall of Asia. And because Diesel\'s character in the movie, Dominic Toretto, is a huge Dodge Charger fan, it was only natural for Dodge to sponsor said premiere. The American car brand is distributed in the Philippines by CATS Motors, also the importer and seller of Mercedes-Benz.

At the red-carpet event before the actual screening, CATS Motors displayed a special-edition Dodge Challenger SRT powered by a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine and equipped with Mopar parts. Among the features of the car are a cat-back larger-diameter exhaust system; a Mopar T/A hood with integrated scoop; front and rear strut braces; a Go-Wing rear spoiler; bright stainless pedal kit; sequential turn signal kit; and door-sill guards.

During the red-carpet event, the Challenger was signed by film stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Luke Evans and Gina Carano.

Now, whether you\'re a Dodge freak or a Fast & Furious fanatic, here\'s some good news: CATS Motors is selling the unit to benefit a still-unspecified charitable institution, according to Dodge brand manager Nenuka Guba. In the next three months, the Challenger, explained Guba, will be displayed at the three Dodge showrooms (Greenhills, Bonifacio Global City and Alabang) in Metro Manila and at select malls. She said that the unit can be purchased if there is an interested buyer, but added that they haven\'t decided on the final price.

If, after the three-month showroom-and-mall tour, the Challenger still hasn\'t found a buyer, CATS Motors will auction it off, said Guba.

So, any moneyed Dominic Toretto wannabes out there?
