Carjacking takes a fatal turn in QC

A 34-year-old female driver was shot dead when she resisted two armed carjackers in Quezon City.

Reports identified the victim as Teresita Teano. She sustained a bullet wound in the cheek and in right arm.

Police said the victim was on her way to the Brahma Krudis meditation school when the shooting incident happened around 6 a.m. on June 15 at the corner of Gener St. and Kamuning Road, Barangay Kamuning, Quezon City.

Police authorities said a barangay official from the area witnessed Teano shrugging off the suspects armed with revolvers before she was shot at close range.

Teano was also ran over by her own Hyundai Accent, which the suspects commandeered during their escape.

In a recent poll conducted by, 43 percent of the respondents said they will surrender their car without a fuss when held at gunpoint by someone who tries to take their car. It was followed by 19 percent who claimed they will unleash their inner Cain Velasquez. Only four percent said they will plead with the carjacker. What would you do?
