Chevrolet's Philippine-market distributor, The Covenant Car Company Inc., quietly put on sale the Trailblazer last October. And despite the lack of fanfare, it seems TCCCI would rather let the numbers do the talking. Apparently, the midsize SUV has approximately a 1,000-unit waiting list in our market.
"We have a 50- to 60-unit backlog for every one of our dealerships nationwide," said TCCCI president and managing director Atty. Albert Arcilla as he closed the company's media ride and drive of both the Trailblazer and the Sonic in Tagaytay Highlands this week. "And we're working very hard to meet the demand by continually shipping it in from the Chevrolet plant in Thailand."
Arcilla added that with the introduction of the Trailblazer and the Sonic last year, he hopes 2013 will be a banner year for Chevrolet in the Philippines.
