It wasn't just car commercials from automakers that hogged the airwaves during the telecast of the National Football League's Super Bowl XLVII, but a few movie trailers as well. And as we mentioned, one of those was the first trailer for the sixth Fast And Furious movie. The trailer quickly became a hit online.
Based on what we gathered from the trailer, it looks like Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is in over his head trying to catch the movie's bad guys, which then prompts him to recruit Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and the rest of the gang to make it an even matchup.
As for the cars, it's an even more eclectic mix compared to the last movie. We spotted a Ford Escort Mark 1, a Ferrari Enzo FXX and F430, a Subaru WRX STI, a Nissan 370Z, a Dodge Charger, a Plymouth Superbird, an Alfa Romeo MiTo, and even a Jensen Interceptor.
Check out the automotive mayhem in the trailer below, and tell us if you can't wait for the movie to hit the big screen on May 24.
