At least that's how it turned out in TAG Heuer's The Duel, which pitted Hollywood legend and racecar driver Steve McQueen against 2008 Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton.

The Duel was commissioned by TAG Heuer to commemorate the 40th anniversary of its classic Monaco timepiece which McQueen wore in his 1971 race car film, Le Mans.

Thanks to the use of special effects wizardry typically seen in Hollywood films, Hamilton was digitally inserted in scenes from Le Mans for a seamless interaction with McQueen.

TAG Heuer held an online poll asking who would win between the racing icons for a chance to win special prizes, including a TAG Heuer Monaco Calibre 12 Golf Limited Edition watch and Lewis Hamilton's helmet.
