The rain and subsequent flood brought by tropical storm 'Sendong' has reportedly claimed over 650 lives and left practically thousand of residents from the cities of Iligan and Cagayan de Oro with hardly any possession in their name.
With Christmas less than a week away, let’s do what we can to help them out, not only because it's the spirit of the season, but to pay forward whatever help we received when it was us that needed it during 'Ondoy'.
Volunteer or donate whatever you can, be it cash or in kind. To help you get started, we've listed where you can do your good deed for the victims of 'Sendong'.
If you'd like to volunteer, the Department of Social Welfare and Development could use your help through its various offices and departments.
