It's that time of year again. The Bangkok International Motor Show is almost upon us, and this year's event is looking like it's going to be just as big, if not bigger, than the last.
Taking place from March 28 to April 8 at Impact Muang Thani, Challenger Halls one to three, the show will have as many as 30 car manufacturers on its exhibit floor this 2018. Honda, Isuzu, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, and Toyota will be among them. Over a dozen motorcycle brands will also be present, including Harley-Davidson, Triumph, and Royal Enfield.
This year's theme is Revolution in Motion, and organizers say visitors can expect a strong show of support from the aftermarket community. Besides the usual showcase of concept vehicles and new models from major car companies, there will also be a "Quality Used Car" exhibit where you can check out pre-loved rides "at a reasonable price from a reliable dealer."
Dr. Prachin Eamlumnow, organizing chairman of the 39th Bangkok International Motor Show, guarantees that this year's display is sure to garner everyone's attention--from "entrepreneurs in the automotive industry ranging from car and motorcycle makers to auto parts manufacturers."
In 2017, more than 1.6 million visitors came to check out the show's cars and motorbikes. With everything that's lined up for this year's event, we wouldn't be surprised to see that figure easily surpassed.
Ticket price is still at 100 Baht (around P166), and organizers say that visitors have a shot at winning cars, motorcycles and other prizes. Will you be flying out to Thailand for the event?
