On February 13, 2025, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) seized several luxury vehicles from two warehouses in Pasay City and Parañaque City. After all was said and done, the value of the haul amounted to around P1.4 billion.
The seized vehicles consisted of multiple McLarens, Rolls-Royces, and Mercedes-Benzes, including a rare Mansory Ferrari SF90 Stradale. According to BOC, it first heard about the illegal vehicles earlier this month, and immediately began planning the operation. These cars were set to be sold online, the agency added.

The complete list of vehicles is yet to be released, and the BOC has not yet commented on when these cars will be auctioned off. In November 2024, two seized Bugatti Chiron cars were put up for auction, but no registered bidders ever showed up. This has brought into question whether a public auction is the best solution to recoup the value of these illegal vehicles.
