These two units were also spec’d with advanced systems used by the Korean National Police Agency. Some features include surround-view cameras, radar-based speed detection, and an intelligent plate recognition system. These tools aid operations and help keep PNP personnel safe in various situations. Hyundai’s global vision—Progress for Humanity—focuses on making meaningful contributions to peace and order nationwide.

“These Elantra patrol cars are purpose-built to support the PNP’s vital mission of protecting the nation. This handover reflects Hyundai’s belief that mobility should evolve with the needs of modern law enforcement,” said Hyundai Motor Philippines president Jiho Son. “Hyundai is privileged to stand with the PNP as a partner in building safer and more progressive communities.”

It’s good to see our police fleet getting modernized with the help of partner manufacturers. Expect to see these cars roaming the metro very soon.
