You may have noticed it from our monthly sales reports, but it’s now official: Jetour Auto Philippines has been recognized by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) as the country’s top seller of PHEVs among its member brands for the first half of 2026.

Based on CAMPI figures, the Chinese carmaker sold 1,891 plug-in hybrid vehicles in the first six months of the year. That comprises more than 90% of its 2,055 total sales within the same period, and is driven by its ‘i-DM’ offerings: the T1 Lightning i-DM, the T2 Lightning i-DM, and the X70 Lightning i-DM. The T1 was the top seller of the three models.

Locally, Jetour is distributed by United Asia Automotive Group (UAAGI), which also carries the brands BAIC, Chery, Foton, Jetour Gaia, and Radar. Top executives credit Jetour’s recent achievement to its continuously expanding dealership network, strong customer support, and after-sales infrastructure, built over 20 years in the local automotive industry.

Among its key facilities is an 8,700sqm parts warehouse that boasts approximately 986,000 spare parts, allowing it to fulfill requests for specific components within 24 hours in Metro Manila and up to three days in the Visayas and Mindanao. In addition, it also opened the UAAGI Center for Technical Excellence in January 2026. At any given time, the 1,200sqm facility can train up to 120 service personnel for all brands handled by UAAGI, providing the latest know-how for hybrid and EV technologies.

Finally, Jetour has also established a dedicated customer care center (0917-5-JETOUR or 0917 553-8687) that owners and interested buyers can contact for vehicle inquiries, test-drive requests, service appointments, and emergency support.

“This is not simply about the numbers. For us, it is about the confidence Filipino consumers have placed in Jetour,” said Rommel Sytin, chairman of UAAGI. “We are sincerely grateful to our customers, dealers, and employees who have helped us reach this point. This milestone encourages us to do better and continue earning that trust.”

For the second half of 2027, Jetour is targeting to expand its sales network to 30 dealerships nationwide, with new locations planned in key growth areas. It will also introduce more electrified vehicles before the end of the year.

“We are grateful for where we are today,” said Miguelito Jose, managing director of the brand in the Philippines. “But we know that the real measure of our success will be how we continue to serve our customers tomorrow. We will keep listening, keep improving, and keep working to make Jetour a brand that Filipino families can trust for many years to come.”
