Mitsubishi Motors Philippines (MMPC) is taking its business up north. The Japanese carmaker recently inaugurated its 51st dealership in the country with its Tuguegarao branch, marking the company's third opening for 2017.
The 2,860sqm facility is situated along Maharlika Highway in Barangay Gosi Sur, Tuguegarao City. Among its highlights are a 15-vehicle service center and a showroom which can house up to four display vehicles. One of the work bays in the facility is also capable of servicing light, medium and heavy duty trucks.
Present during the inauguration were Freeway Motor Sales of Cabanatuan Corp. (FMSC) president Kristine Lazaro, MMPC vice president of sales and marketing Shigeru Ogura, and local government officials. According to MMPC, the area's strategic location and notable growth make Tuguegarao an ideal location for the company's expansion. MMPC also says it is the first automotive manufacturer to set up shop in Tuguegarao.
"MMPC is optimistic that with the opening of its new dealership in Tuguegarao, the company will be able to extend its reach of providing world-class products and services to more customers," the carmaker said in a statement. The new dealership will be open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm.
