Yes, we know, we just reminded you earlier today about this event via Mitsubishi Motors Philippines\' announcement that it was to display the Outlander PHEV at the show. But now we just got a message from the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines, informing us that the group decided just today to postpone the \"3rd Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit\" originally scheduled for November 28-29 at the Meralco Compound on Ortigas Avenue in Pasig City, in deference to the victims of typhoon Yolanda.

\"The conveners of the Philippine EV Summit regret to inform you that the event has been postponed to a later date,\" wrote EVAP president Rommel Juan in an e-mail. \"This is in solidarity with the rest of the nation as we focus on rehabilitation initiatives for the severe damages caused by typhoon Yolanda. This decision is reinforced by the fact that a significant number of our panelists, especially those in the government, are heavily involved in providing assistance to affected communities. At the moment, plans are to reschedule the summit to February 27-28, 2014.\"

The group is also apologizing for the inconvenience that this short notice will cause the participants as well as those intending to attend. Those who need to reach the event secretariat are advised to call (02) 631-1329 or e-mail pcasecretariat2012@gmail.com.
