Several Suzuki Philippines officials were present in Santa Rosa, Laguna, earlier this month for the ground-breaking ceremony of the Japanese car and motorcycle manufacturer's latest dealership--its first in the area. Suzuki Auto Santa Rosa, owned and managed by the Shaw Motor Plaza Corporation, will be the car brand's latest addition to its current lineup of 32 dealerships nationwide.
Suzuki Philippines president Hiroshi Suzuki expressed his excitement for this development: "Today, we mark another milestone for Suzuki. The city of Santa Rosa has been on our target-expansion radar for some time now, owing to its rapid growth, intense land development and great potential to bloom in business in the coming years. Now it will begin to come to fruition, and we are filled with pride and excitement to bring our great-value, fuel-efficient and top-quality automobile lineup to the vibrant community of Laguna."
Other executives present during the ceremony were Suzuki Philippines general manager Shuzo Hoshikura, and Shaw Motor Plaza president and vice president Felix Limcaoco, vice president Tey Sornet and group general manager Robert Salomon.
The new dealership will be located at Tagaytay Balibago Road corner Greenfield Parkway. It will provide motorists in the south with access to Suzuki sales, services and spare parts when it opens by December this year.
