Yamaha Motor Philippines recently made history when it broke two Guinness World Records last July 13, 2024. What it achieved was the Most Engines Started Simultaneously and the Most Horns Sounded Simultaneously.
Record breaking is not new to the Japanese brand. Ten years ago Yamaha broke three Guinness World Records. This year, 3,300 riders—almost triple the number from a decade ago—gathered at Ayala Malls Manila Bay to make history again.
This event was held at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, one of the newest developments of the Ayala Group, a company known for the quality of its mall projects. A growing number of car events have been held in this area, away from the congested centers of Metro Manila. In fact, the recently concluded Legends of the ’90s car meet was staged in Ayala Malls Manila Bay. It’s so convenient to eat and shop in between attending car and motorcycle events.
Yamaha’s successful feat showed that with the right planning, a proper venue, and passionate riders, records can fall.
