Isuzu Philippines Corp. hopes to make sport-utility vehicles (SUV) more affordable with the introduction of the Alterra Zen.
To keep the costs down, Isuzu offers a 4x2 drivetrain for the Alterra while giving buyers a choice between manual and automatic transmissions. The vehicle is powered by a 4JJI-TC 3.0-liter CRDi Euro III-compliant diesel engine.
The Alterra Zen comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, transmitter-integrated keyless entry system, new projector headlamps and fog lamps, comfortable leather seats, power-retractable side mirrors, a JVC audio head unit with iPod connectivity, and license-plate garnish.
"The Isuzu Alterra Zen Edition has bigger cargo space, a longer wheelbase and a more comfortable ride compared to other 4x2 SUVs in the market today." Isuzu Philippines president Keiji Takeda said.
Basic features coming with the Alterra Zen allows buyers to choose from a wide array of accessories to customize their ride and make it truly unique from the other SUVs on the road.
