Koenigsegg has set six new world records for production cars using a standard Agera R at its proving ground in Ängelholm, Sweden.
Using a Racelogic VBox performance recorder, the data was collected and measured by a third party and the following numbers registered on the system:
0-300kph = 14.53 seconds
0-200mph = 17.68 seconds
300-0kph = 6.66 seconds
200-0mph = 7.28 seconds
0-300-0kph = 21.19 seconds
0-200-0mph = 24.96 seconds
"The Records truly show the Agera Rs phenomenal stability, acceleration and braking performance--and that presently its performance is in a league of its own," Koenigsegg said in a statement. "All results will be submitted to the Guinness Book of Records."
Too bad Koenigsegg wasn't able to test the Agera R's top speed to find out if its latest car could beat the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport’s record-setting 431.072kph flat-out run.
