Maserati will unveil the fastest, lightest and most powerful car in its range--the two-seater GranTurismo MC Stradale--at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
Inspired by the one-make competition car Trofeo GranTurismo MC and the race-winning GT4 race car, the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale puts out 450hp that allows it to breach the 300kph mark without consuming more fuel than a regular GranTurismo S.
Maserati said the GranTurismo MC Stradale also gets an aero package that allows it to produce more aerodynamic downforce without producing additional aerodynamic drag. Its handling has also been sharpened to make it more agile without sacrificing the highly-praised ride quality associated with the GranTurismo S.
Though it has not revealed the car’s price, Maserati has confirmed that the GranTurismo MC Stradale will go on sale “in the first quarter of 2011.”
