Cavitex is also reactivating the Abante Program for the benefit of registered public utility vehicles and agri trucks. This initiative allows drivers and operators of the aforementioned vehicles to continue paying the old Cavitex rates for a period of 90 days from the implementation of the toll hike.
The adjusted toll rates will help support infrastructure improvements being undertaken by CIC and PRA. These include the ongoing rehabilitation of critical portions along the Kawit and Parañaque segments, the replacement of expansion joints along the Parañague segment bridges and the Imus Viaduct, and the installation of automatic license plate recognition systems at toll plazas.
