The Dubai police force isn't the only one with a Lamborghini Gallardo in its fleet. The Los Angeles Police Department has just revealed that it now also has a similar vehicle in its lineup. The difference, however, is that the LAPD's supercar is only a loaner.
Reportedly owned by Travis and Nathalie Marg of international telecommunications contractor Light Source 1, the Gallardo will be used "to serve charitable events for the LAPD Air Support Team." For its first assignment, the car will be on display along with a helicopter from the LAPD Air Support Team at the Los Angeles County Air Show to be held this weekend (March 21 and 22) at Fox Field.
Since the car is privately owned, its black-and-white police livery is actually just a wrap courtesy of Galpin Auto Sport, the same car customization shop that was featured on MTV’s Pimp My Ride.
