These announcements are becoming routine already—there's a new one practically every week. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) says motorists should expect road reblocking and repairs on EDSA and C5 again, starting at 11pm tonight.

These repairs are scheduled to last until 5am next Monday, October 8, so plan your trips on these thoroughfares accordingly:

Soutbound:

1) C5 Road after Julia Vargas, before Lanuza Avenue

2) EDSA after Eugenio Lopez to before Scout Borromeo Street (beside MRT line)

Northbound:

1) EDSA beside Trinoma Mall (sixth lane from center island)

2) Batasan Road before Congress North Gate and fronting QCPU (third lane)

The agency also announced that Manila Water will be performing pavement restoration operations—from 10pm tonight until 4am on Monday, and from 10pm on October 12 until 4am on October 15—at the following stretches of C5:

1) Before Caltex gas station

2) At the front of Caltex gas station

Again, motorists should expect a buildup of traffic in the abovementioned areas, so you might want to avoid these stretches if you can. Hopefully, these projects don't last longer than they have to. Check out the MMDA's post below:
