Finally. Segment 10 of the NLEX Harbor Link project—which will drastically reduce travel times from Valenzuela City to Caloocan City, and help decongest the Port Area—has been opened.
The start of operations of the long-awaited infrastructure project was announced by Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) secretary Mark Villar and the NLEX Corporation earlier today on social media, with the latter of the two providing a guide for the segment’s first-time users. Check it out below:
To Manila/Caloocan City from Central and North Luzon:

- Enter at Smart Connect Interchange going to Karuhatan, Valenzuela City.
- Head straight to NLEX Harbor Link Segment 10 at
leftmost lane, 500 meters before Karuhatan exit on MacArthur Highway.
To Manila/Caloocan City from Quezon City:

- Enter NLEX Mindanao Avenue, Link Segment 8.1.
- Head straight to NLEX Harbor Link Segment 10 at
leftmost lane, 500 meters before Karuhatan exit on MacArthur Highway.
To Manila/Caloocan City from EDSA:

- Enter NLEX via Balintawak Toll Plaza and pass through Smart Connect Interchange going to Karuhatan, Valenzuela City.
- Head straight to NLEX Harbor Link Segment 10 at
leftmost lane, 500 meters before Karuhatan exit on MacArthur Highway.
To NLEX from 5th Avenue, Caloocan City:

- From 5th Avenue, stay in the rightmost lane.
- Turn right before the PNR rail track and enter NLEX Harbor Link Segment 10 entry ramp on right.
To NLEX from Port Area:

- From P
ort Area, turn right to C3 Road. - Stay in the leftmost lane after the PNR track in C3.
- Turn left to NLEX Harbor Link Segment 10 entry ramp.
