Fellow residents of Santa Rosa, Laguna—or those who frequently visit or pass by the Nuvali area on weekends—be advised that the Nuvali Flyover is opening on March 21, 2025.
This flyover crosses the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) near the Laguna Boulevard Interchange. It provides east-bound motorists on the service road direct access to Nuvali and the Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road without having to cross the intersection. If you frequent the area, you know how confusing and chaotic it can get.

A new traffic scheme will be implemented on the service road. No word yet on how the flow will look like, but we’re guessing they might bring back the one-way scheme on select portions of both the east and west service roads. Rest assured, we’ll keep you posted.
How this new flyover and the new traffic scheme will affect traffic in the area remains to be seen. As many of us locals know, rush hour traffic here can get pretty bad when everybody’s coming from home from the schools, industrial parks, and offices within the vicinity. Here’s hoping it’ll help improve, if not solve, our traffic woes on this side of the south.
