The name of the page itself, we presume, comes from drag-diesel racing. These tuned diesel vehicles are capable of high outputs and are used for drag racing, and they’re known to produce high volumes of dark smoke. These races, however, should be held on the track, not on public roads.

LTO impounds Smoke Machine PH’s Toyota Innova:
The LTO didn’t specify the exact reason the Innova was impounded, but LTO chief Markus Lacanilao did release a statement on the matter. “We will continue to run after those who use public roads for illegal racing,” Lacanilao said. “This kind of behavior will not be tolerated.”
