It's coming up to January 9 again. For those who don't know, that's when the Feast of the Black Nazarene procession takes place in Manila. To make way for the celebration, the 

*All vehicles coming from the northern part of Manila to Bonifacio Drive southbound shall turn right at Roberto S. Oca St., left at Delgado, left at 25th St., left at Bonifacio Dr., right at A. Soriano to Magallanes Drive, right at P. Burgos, straight to Lagunsilad to Taft Avenue. Other southbound vehicles shall turn left at A. Soriano to their destination.

*All vehicles on Taft Ave. northbound shall turn right at A. Villegas (Arroceros), then right at Quezon Bridge to their destination. Northbound of Quezon Boulevard will be open to traffic. 

*All vehicles from the south of Manila using Roxas Boulevard northbound from T.M. Kalaw to P. Burgos shall turn right at T.M. Kalaw to their destination. 

*All vehicles coming from Quezon City along España shall turn right at P. Campa, left at Andalucia, right at Fugoso, then left at T. Mapua to their destination. 

*All PUJs/light vehicles coming from España heading to the South Pier Zone will turn left at Nicanor Reyes, right at C.M. Recto, straight to Jose Abad Santos, left at Reina Regente, left at Juan Luna St., left at San Vicente St., then take Jones Bridge to their destination.

*All vehicles coming from Divisoria to Recto will turn right at T. Alonzo, right at Fugoso, left at Oroquieta, right at Alvarez St., then left at Andalucia to their destination.

*All vehicles coming from Legarda shall turn right at C.M. Recto or left at Mendiola to their destination.


*All heavy vehicles/cargo trucks coming from the south will take Pres. Osmena, right at Pres. Quirino to Nagtahan via A.H. Lacson to Capulong, or vice-versa.

The MMDA also advised motorists heading to either the north or south of Manila to use the stretch of Lacson to Nagtahan, or Road 10, to Roxas Blvd. (and vice-versa) to get to their destination. Buses, meanwhile, will be banned from Taft Avenue from 7am to 12 noon. During that time, they will only be allowed as far as Pres. Quirino as their turning point.
