Nissan is the big winner in the 2011 Auto Focus People's Choice Award with the Japanese carmaker bagging six of the 13 trophies at stake. Of the six, however, it was the Teana that emerged as the biggest winner, not only for topping the midsize sedan segment but for being named as the 2011-2012 Auto Focus People's Choice Award's Automobile of the Year.

Voting for the 13 winners were done from July 1 to September 30 with the public casting their votes either online via the Auto Focus website, electronically through designated Air21 off-site voting outlets nationwide, through a ballot found in the Philippine Star's weekly Motoring Section or through ballots found in designated Air21 and Caltex service stations located all over the country.
