Oil firms cut fuel prices by P1.50 per liter

What a way to start the week
Jul 11, 2010

Oil firms delivered good news early Monday as they slashed P1.50 off the price of gasoline and diesel products.

Oil companies which have implemented the rollback are Pilipinas Shell, Chevron Philippines (formerly Caltex), and Total.

The rollback was implemented "to reflect the decline in international product prices and the reduction in tariff" on petroleum products, Shell spokesperson Roberto Kanapi said in a text message to the media.

Petron Corp. and Seaoil Philippines also implemented a rollback, GMANews.tv reported.
