Forget unwanted spam mails and girly perfumes. Heiress Paris Hilton has placed her name on something almost unrelated to her craft, if we can call it that, as she recently launched Team SuperMartxé VIP.
Known as the Team SuperMartxé VIP by Paris Hilton, the team will compete in the 125cc class of the World Motorcycling Championship next season, MotoGP.com said.
The team will be bannered by three-time 125cc series race winner Sergio Gadea and 2010 Spanish national and European 125cc champion Maverick Viñales, with the pair straddling Aprilia RSA motorcycles. Lending his technical expertise to the team is Rossano Brazzi who guided six-time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi to the 125cc championship in 1997.
Hilton will reportedly be present in as many rounds of the 2011 World Championship as possible.
Though Hilton wore a pink and white, rhinestone-studded racing suit to the launch, we doubt both Gadea and Viñales will wear a similar outfit once the season gets underway. Or should they?
