Philippine car sales figures for January 2013

Combined CAMPI and AVID numbers
Feb 19, 2013

The year 2013 kicked off with a very busy month for the industry in terms of events, indicating this could be a record 12-month sales period for local automotive distributors. The opening month of January is over, and the numbers are here, based on reports by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines and the Association of Vehicle Importers and Distributors.

We already posted this table on our Facebook page, but this is an updated version that has two changes to it:

* We already included Mazda sales. The brand's new distributor, Berjaya Auto Philippines, is still not a member of either CAMPI or AVID; and

* We adjusted the numbers of Toyota, subtracting from them the sales figures of Lexus

In case you're wondering why PGA Cars has an asterisk and is rendered in italics, it's because we couldn't break down the company's total into Audi, Porsche and Lamborghini numbers. The figures you see below are an aggregate of the three high-end brands.

Now, check out the table and see if your favorite car brand fared well last month.
