Columbian Autocar Corp., official distributor of Kia vehicles in the local market, has given Pinoy motorists another car to look forward to as it unveiled the new Cadenza at the 3rd Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).
No one could touch the Kia Cadenza on display as it is not just encaged in glass, it’s guarded by tigers as well (as of the PIMS opening day, that is). Columbian Autocar advertising manager Dodjie Castro said the tigers represent the inspiration for Kia’s design that represents a fast and aggressive character.
The Kia Cadenza, which is being established as a “dynamic and luxury sedan with refined sophistication,” is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 Lambda II engine that produces 290 horspower and 338 Newton meters of torque.
Bringing the Cadenza to the PIMS is Columbian Autocar’s way of testing the Filipino motorist’s reception of the executive sedan. The Kia distributor could not commit if and when it will start selling the Cadenza in the Philippines.
