Before the 2026 Thai Grand Prix got underway, spectators were treated to a different kind of rider parade. All MotoGP riders competed in the Tuk-Tuk Challenge, a two-lap race around the track in rickshaws.
Each team had one tuk-tuk, with teammates switching driver roles after one lap. The challenge started off with a warm-up lap, where Pramac Yamaha riders Jac Miller and Toprak Razgatlioglu immediately started attempting wheelies.

Amidst the fun chaos, Marc Marquez took a page from Mario Kart and sprayed water from his squeeze bottle on the LCR Honda team while going for an overtake. Later, his own teammate Pecco Bagnaia almost took him out with a hard twist on the throttle, sending Marquez leaning back in the passenger seat with his feet up.

In the interview, Razgatlioglu was jokingly told that Paramac Yamaha team manager Gino Borsoi looked like he was questioning his decisions about letting his riders loose in tuk-tuks after seeing them lean the three-wheeler on its side and attempting multiple wheelies. “Hey, it all ended well. We know what we’re doing; we’re all in one piece!” Razgatlioglu responded.
The challenge concluded with Miller and Razgatlioglu taking the win. The Tech3 KTM duo of Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales took 2nd place, while Johann Zarco and Diogo Moreira from LCR Honda finished 3rd. Watch the full challenge below:
