Any Gran Turismo fans in the house? Since you're reading our website, we're guessing that a fair chunk of you are. If so, then you've probably been chomping at the bit to play the upcoming Gran Turismo Sport. While the game isn't on store shelves just yet, you can get the chance to whet your appetite for virtual racing.
From now until October 8, Sony is hosting the PlayStation Play Everything roadshow at the SM North EDSA Annex. From 10am to 9pm, you can try out Gran Turismo Sport for free on a gaming rig complete with steering wheel and pedals. We got the opportunity to try it out for ourselves, taking to the Suzuka circuit in an endurance race car. The physics and feedback are realistic, the graphics are stunning, and even seasoned gamers will be challenged.
There are over 150 cars and numerous tracks to choose from in this game. There are also FIA-approved competitions you can join online.
If you don't have a PlayStation 4 console yet or you want to upgrade your current one, then you can keep an eye out for the upcoming Gran Turismo Sport Special Edition model that will be released this month. The console, which has a 1TB HDD and features the GT logo, will be sold in a bundle along with the new game for P20,900. If you just want the game itself, it'll be released on October 17, 2017.
So visit the roadshow while it's still on, and sample your early Christmas gift. If you need to convince your significant other on how awesome the game is, then let (or force, whatever works) him or her try it out as well.
