Department of Public Works and Highway (DPWH) is reportedly set to start the construction of an underpass at the intersection of Quezon Avenue and Araneta Avenue in Quezon City--as if the current traffic situation in the area isn't bad enough as it is.
Construction will commence next week.
The news came from the Twitter update of GMA News reporter Raffy Tima, who added that to decongest the expected traffic build up in the area once construction starts, private vehicles will be diverted toward alternate routes while public-utility vehicles will still be allowed to pass through the intersection.
If Araneta Avenue and Quezon Avenue are part of your daily drive, better start scouting for your own alternate route soon.
