The year may not yet be over but Volvo is already looking at a rosy sales performance even beyond 2011.
"We are looking forward to an optimistic last quarter and an even more dynamic 2012 with the introduction of new models and variants that will make it possible for us to compete in segments where we were not present in before," said Rose Dimalanta, Volvo Philippines' first executive vice president.
Volvo Philippines has recently announced the availability of the XC60, which now comes in three variants: the 2.0-liter T5, the 2.4-liter turbo-diesel, and the 3.0-liter T6.
Aside from the expected arrival of more exciting products, Volvo is also looking at making its vehicles more accessible to the market.
"Plans of expanding the network is also underway in our effort to share with the market the new breed of sleek, smart and strong Volvos," Dimalanta said. She did not specify the areas Volvo is eyeing for its expansion.
For now, Volvo is offering its vehicles with various schemes, which include the Best-in-Class Ownership Package with a down payment that starts at P250,000. Perks include a five-year warranty, five-year roadside assistance, three-year registration at the Land Transportation Office, one-year free comprehensive insurance and free chattel mortgage.
