Over the past few weeks, you’ve seen ‘glitches’ in Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc.’s (YMPH) billboards and its official website. You’ve also seen them on the pages of various KOLs and even on the iconic SM Mall of Asia Globe. Now, we finally know what these are all about: They’re part of Yamaha’s newest campaign, Live to Defy.

The campaign marks the start of Yamaha’s new visual identity. It also gives us a glimpse of what’s in store for YMPH in 2026—a year of rewriting its story, innovating further, and reaching new heights while staying true to its ethos.

Live to Defy is not about taking the road less traveled, but about embarking on one’s own path. It’s Yamaha showing its intent to do things its own way without having to conform to trends and norms.

At the launch of the Live to Defy campaign, Yamaha also premiered its newest TV commercial starring brand ambassadors Ruru Madrid and Mika Salamanca. OPM legend Bamboo also gave a thrilling performance during the event.

The campaign launch also coincided with the launch of the new Yamaha Lexi, a motorcycle that blends practicality and performance. For this introduction, YMPH also tapped a new product ambassador in Emman Bacosa Pacquiao. He stars in the You’re Up Next campaign for the new Yamaha Lexi, which was launched together with another compelling new TVC.

Yamaha will also leverage its existing technologies, specifically the My Yamaha Motor Rev PH app, to strengthen its vast community of riders and enhance the overall experience of Yamaha fans across the country. YMPH will host exciting new activities and partner up with brands and restaurants to integrate the user experience as part of a full-on lifestyle.

It will be an exciting year ahead for YMPH—expect to see more new things from Team Blue in the coming months. Keep an eye on Yamaha’s website and social media pages to stay in the loop. Check out all the links here:
