To this day, and most likely heading into 2025, dashcams are still an absolute essential for every driver and car. In a country with a rather ‘rough’ driving culture, dashcams are great for protecting drivers and their passengers. Warding off ill-mannered traffic enforcers and  supporting insurance claims can all be done with dashcams and the footage from them. And with how active Philippine streets are, who knows what else your dashcam will catch?

If you haven’t picked up a dashcam yet, there is no time like the present. Christmas bonuses should be in, and if you need a gift for your designated driver then here are some options.

However, there are a number of things to consider when buying your dashcam. How much internal storage do you need? Will you need WiFi connectivity? Do you need a 24-hour recording feature? It can get overwhelming, and so to help you out, we’ve compiled five dashcams at varying price points with different feature sets. Make sure to do your research before clicking ‘Add to Cart.’
