Some "number-crunching" guys have pointed out on Facebook that the dates of the birth and death of the late motorcycling champion Maico Buncio eerily add up to his motorbike number if you sum up the digits. He was born on September 10, 1988 (9-10-88), and died on May 15, 2011 (5-15-11). His motorbike number was 129.
The computation is as follows:
9 + 10 + 88 + 5 + 15 + 1 + 1 = 129
We have to point out, however, that there is some inconsistency in the computation. How come "11" is split up as "1+1" but "10", "88" and "15" aren't?
Even so, it still makes for some really spooky arithmetic, don't you think?
