Apparently, another wrestler is joining the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise

It looks like Dwayne Johnson won’t be the only body-slamming star on the set of the next Fast and Furious film. Fox News reports that John Cena will apparently join the cast of the upcoming ninth installment (tenth if you count this year’s Hobbs & Shaw).

The news stems from an Instagram post from lead star Vin Diesel. He mentions how he feels the late Paul Walker continues to send him the right people to help guide the franchise in the right direction. Then, Diesel pans the camera to reveal none other than the erstwhile Doctor of Thuganomics doing his signature you can’t see me” wave.

As some of you might know, Cena is no stranger to fast cars—he’s a legit gearhead who once had his own YouTube series about his car collection. But even with the franchise’s current emphasis on explosions and physics-defying action, we figure Cena wouldn’t be out of place either way. Hell, he could even revive his old rivalry with Johnson. Here’s hoping Cena dishes out an Attitude Adjustment or two along the way.

We hope he enters into the movie like he does in the video below. Hell, we’d be happy if he has a driving scene, period.
