Our love of cars most likely derived from our fathers--from the time they bought us our first die-cast toy car all the way to the very first moment they taught us how to drive a car. Some of them handed us the keys to the trusted family car, or even got us a brand-new ride of our own.
You can then just imagine how much of an influence some of the most important men in the history of cars and motorsports--who were/are fathers themselves--have had in their children's future.
On the occasion of Father's Day, we present to you our list of the 10 greatest fathers in the history of motoring, both here and abroad. Feel free to let us know if we missed anyone that should be on this list as well.
