In case you didn’t know, McDonald’s regularly releases Tomica Happy Meal toys over in Japan. Add that to the ever-growing list of reasons we love Japan. But we digress.

For this year, the Golden Arches’ new set of Tomicas includes something extra special: A Toyota GR Supra Safety Car. Finished in a striking McDonald’s-like yellow finish and complete with the safety car look.

Toyota Gazoo Racing went all out with this, even going so far as to release a full-on promotional video entitled ‘GO! GR SUPRA SAFETY CAR!’ on YouTube, and it’s quite the spectacle. It features the Supra being deployed on the track to guide a bunch of cars through...well, inflatables falling into the circuit. You can just click play on the embedded video above for more.

The Toyota GR Supra Safety Car scale-model Tomicas will be available with every Happy Meal purchase starting April 25, 2025. This Happy Set is the second of the ‘Working Cars’ installment and includes a fire truck, heavy machinery, a helicopter, and a secret toy. The first installment includes a Nissan GT-R Patrol Car, a Toyota Himedic Ambulance, and an Isuzu Elf Signed Car.
