Cars aren’t the only things we are passionate about. Top Gear PH has a thing for watches, too. If you’ve been following our brand, you would know that we used to have a section dedicated to cool timepieces in our old magazine. It’s time to bring back the ‘Best Time’ spirit.
TAG Heuer watches have always been a big favorite among our staffers owing to the brand’s rich history, motorsport connection, and excellent quality. The timeless designs (no pun intended) definitely make the models highly desirable, too.
The Swiss watchmaker recently released a new version of its Aquaracer, but with new specifications. Here’s the all-new Carbon Aquaracer.
The Carbon Aquaracer is constructed using a mix of carbon fiber and resin. The process means that no two watches are exactly the same. Every example is unique, and this adds to the feeling of exclusivity on your wrist. The combination of materials used also makes the timepiece durable and lightweight. True to its name, the watch is also waterproof up to 300m.
The special carbon series includes another gorgeous timepiece: the TAG Heuer Monaco Bamford, sporting a similar carbon texture and a bright blue finish that is reminiscent of the original and iconic Monaco. It’s the watch pictured at the top of this page. Check out that carbon case and the elegant full black dial that enhances the aqua-blue chronometers. This is the one we really want.
